Star Wars: Customizable Card Game

Released in 1995 by Decipher Inc., Star Customizable Card Game (Star Wars: CCG) is a collectible card game based on the Star Wars universe. Initially based around the original Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars: CCG was eventually expanded to include other Star Wars properties. For much of the late 1990s, Star Wars: CCG was second only to Magic: The Gathering in terms of sales and occasionally surpassed Magic as the top-selling collectible card game. 11 full expansions were released, and while Decipher lost the Star Wars licensing in 2001, Star Wars: CCG still has an active player community. The Star Wars: CCG Players Committee now oversees the game and regularly releases "virtual cards" online. The Star Wars: CCG World Championships remains an annual event.
